The College of Nursing is recognized by the Kerala Nurses’ and Midwives’ Council and Indian Nursing Council. It is situated within the Health Sciences Campus in a separate building with excellent facilities. The first two batches of the college have completed their course, and the third batch of students are undergoing their Internship. The annual intake is fifty students.

The BSc Nursing Programme is a four-year degree programme with one-year compulsory internship.

The revised curriculum based on INC (Indian Nursing Council) syllabus has been implemented from the academic year 2006- 2007. An all-round academic and clinical experience is offered through classroom teaching, varied clinical experiences, conferences, health exhibitions, talks by eminent personalities and visits to various places to fulfil the requirement.The experienced and stable faculty (including 20 Post Graduates in various specialities) are a valuable asset to this Institution.

Amrita College of Nursing is the first College of Nursing in the private sector in Kerala that has obtained sanction from the Indian Nursing Council to start the MSc Nursing Programme with an intake of 20 students in four specialities (Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing). The programme is expected to commence soon.
