The Amrita School of Ayurveda is pursuing a
unique direction in integrating the ancient
philosophies and science of health for bringing
out a different breed of Ayurvedic physicians
who are professionally world class, and who
have the capacity to meet the challenges of
the modern world. The Ayurveda Hospital and
Research Centre attached to the Amrita School
of Ayurveda is engaged in research and manufacturing
of Ayurvedic pharmaceuticals.
The Institution is situated on 25 acres of land
near the backwaters along the coast of Kerala,
2 miles west of Karunagappally from NH-47 in
Kollam District . It has an overall
built-up area of 200,000 square feet shared
by the school and an attached hospital with a
capacity of 250 beds. |
