The Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine offers consultations to referring patients in all areas of anaesthesia and critical care as well as chronic and acute pain management.

The department is equipped to provide anaesthesia during a full range of surgeries and is also a primary component of the Trauma Centre Team, performing airway management, pulmonary and cardiovascular assessment, patient resuscitation, and follow-up care of patients in the intensive care units.
