| Procedures: |
- Body composition analysis: This is done by stadiometer (Seca 222), electronic weighing scale (seca 882) , body fat monitor (Omron HBF 306) and skin fold calipers.
- Physical activity assessment : This is done by a pedometer (Omron HJ-113) for 24-hour activity.
- Exercise capacity and cardiovascular fitness assessment: This is done by a CPX machine (Medgraphics USA) for short high intensity physical activity.
- Dietary assessment: This is done by 24-hour standard dietary recall protocol.

| Equipments : |
- Body fat monitor (Omron HBF 306) – This instrument is used to analyse body fat percentage in seconds. Hand held fitness analyzer uses painless bioelectrical impedance method. This instrument also measures basal metabolic rate and gives graphical interpretation of body type.
- Pedometers (Omron HJ-113) –This is a portable electronic device, which counts each step a person makes. Used originally by sports and physical fitness enthusiasts, pedometers are now becoming popular as an everyman exercise measurer and motivator. This instrument measures the steady or aerobic steps, basic metabolic rate and calorie of fat burnt during physical activity.
- CPX/D (Medgraphics USA)– Cardiopulmonary exercise testing is a non-invasive and objective method of evaluating both cardiac and pulmonary function. It allows a very accurate assessment of the current exercise capacity and possible areas of improvement.
- Non-invasive BP monitor (Vital Care 506N3) – This is used to determine non-invasive blood pressure by means of oscillometry.
