Our success to date has established a feeling of trust in us by parents and families as well as by professionals in other medical facilities, who often transfer their very low birth weight babies to us for care. The Division of Newborn Services commenced its functioning in April 2002. It has grown to include 3000 square feet of clinical space and has been reputed to be the most technologically advanced unit in the country by experts in this field from PGI in Chandigarh, AIIMS in Delhi, and Child's Trust Hospital in Madras.
