Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology: The pediatric cardiology department at AIMS is one of four hospitals in India that offer the fellowship in pediatric cardiology. This program is accredited by the national board of examinations. Two candidates are selected each year through a competitive examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations. | CME |
A number of CME courses and Conferences have been conducted by the department. The CME courses that are to be offered in the near future include:
- November 12, 2006, Sunday: CME on “Healthy Lifestyles in Adolescents and Children”. This is an interactive program for pediatricians and practitioners. Selected teachers, students and members will also participate. The program is jointly organized by the department of pediatric cardiology and endocrinology of AIMS.
- February 5, 2007: CME on infection control in ICU: Jointly organized by AIMS and department of pediatric cardiac intensive care, Lucille Packard Children’s hospital, Stanford. Details on this CME will be posted shortly.
