The Department of Pulmonary Medicine at AIMS has always be striving to maintain the best of quality in patient care by applying most comprehensive and recent methods in diagnosis and management of all types of pulmonary diseases. The department undertakes the prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of pulmonary diseases in adults and children. The multi disciplinary team is involved in clinical care of the patients and in patient education and counseling. Quit tobacco clinic and COPD rehabilitation programs are integral parts of the department. The department also provides first quality critical care services to seriously ill patients in collaboration with the department of Anaesthesia.
