Rejoicing in the PLEXUS ' 06
Plexus'06 ushered in 3 days of fun and enjoyment in the AIMS campus. This year arts and cultural festival of medical students , organised by 2003 batch , was conducted in 2 phases. The fine arts events were held from11/10/2006. the mega fest comprising of literary and cultural events was conducted in the New Auditorium above the general hospital.on 8,9 and 10th of November.The culfest was kicked off in style with an enthralling performance by the Amrita TV Superstars.
Students had set a food court which was a run away hit , and the game station also drew in large crowds for games like bowling , darts ,snooker etc. The festivities and fun concluded on the third day with the group dance competition .All the students thoroughly enjoyed th Arts festival and got a well deserved break from their studies !!!

Salam Namaste Superstars
It was an enthralling performance by the Superstars from Amrita TV , Ajay , Sudheesh , Lakshmi B , Sharath and Lakshmi VR on 8 th of November2006. The super stars had come for an exclusive programme for students of Medical Campus of Amrita University. By the end of their show they had won the hearts of all the students.

Padmasree Dr Kamalhassan giving a message to the students to be published in the college magazine . He had come to the Medical Campus to give a talk on Tobacco cessation. He also gave away the prize of Rs One lakh to the winner of Quit and win contest conducted by ATMA.

Happy Birthday Amma
26 September 2006, Amritapuri On Amma's birthday we presented various cultural programmes.Medical Students from AIMS perform a 'peacock dance' which was coreographed by one of the students and had won many awards in previous competitions.
Medical students depict a scene from the puranic story of Markendaya.
Brahma came for Amma's darshan after one of the skits.
